The STUDENT SERVICES WEBSITE at ss.mths.ca is set up as an information tool, including information about: Community Service Hours Opportunities, Courses, Careers, Graduation, Scholarships, etc.

Driver Education Program Summer 2017.  Registration forms are now available in Student Services. Register on-line at conted.ocsb.ca, by fax 613-224-9253, by mail or in person at the Ottawa Catholic School Board, 570 West Hunt Club Road, Nepean.  ​(KW)

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Interested in getting some volunteer hours over the summer?  Join the ever growing Phil LeBlanc Memorial Tournament Team at the Barrhaven Tennis Club!  Tournament is held from July 13th-23rd.  For more information, please contact Patrick LeBlanc at leblanc.patrick16@gmail.com. (July 23)

Summer Reading:
 This is your last chance to sign out some books to read over the summer. Drop by the Learning Commons to pick up a permission form, so that you can check out up to 10 books for the entire summer. Or, check out some amazing ebooks and audiobooks all summer long at: tinyurl.com/ovrd-ocsb Happy Reading! (NBD June 28)

A reminder to all students that if you keep an Epipen in the main office, please come and pick it up before the end of the year. (DD June 30)

A reminder to students to check my.mths.ca to clear up any outstanding fees or money owing before the end of the year.  (DD June 30)

At the end of the day, the expectation for students who are not involved in any extracurricular activities, is that students leave the building and make their way home.  Students who wish to remain after school to watch a school sporting event, are also expected to leave immediately after the game.  Make sure transportation arrangements are made in advance.  In the future, students who are found loitering around the school at the end of the day will formally speak to an administrator. During the lunch period, no High School student is permitted on the 2nd and 3rd floor of the new wing which is the 7/8 classroom areas. (MK)

Summer School Registration forms from the Ottawa Catholic School Board are now available in Student Services. Registration period is from May 1 to June 28.   Final registration date is Wednesday, June 28, from 9am to 1pm at St. Nicholas Adult High School (West Campus) 893 Admiral Avenue. Forms must be completed/signed by student and parent and then approved by a Student Services counsellor.   Summer school locations are Holy Trinity HS, Immaculata HS, St. Pius X HS and L.B. Pearson HS.  L.B. Pearson has online courses only. (KW)

Be kind and rewind with us for a night of everything 90's! On behalf of the creators of this event, we would like to thank you for taking the time to volunteer for such a wonderful cause! We invite you to help create a fun experience of the best decade ever.

EVENT DESCRIPTION:
Come back in time and replay a fun evening from the 1990's. Rewind with us to your favourite decade at "90’s Flashback Trivia Night" at Tailgators – 1642 Merivale Road in Nepean on Wednesday, June 28. If you’re totally Clueless, our fly decor will bring you right back to the best decade of them all. Listen to your favourite songs from boy bands to Nirvana, while digging into a 3 course themed meal and classic 90’s treats. Feel free to dress in your best 90's get-up for an opportunity to win a wicked prize, get a free 90’s makeover and grab a photo in our retro photo booth. Cha-ching raised at this fundraising event go to the Children's Wish Foundation who grant wishes to children with life threatening illnesses so don't forget to check out the silent auction tables! Must be energetic, responsible and good around children. 20 mins break for snacks. 2 Tattoo Parlor Assistants: Duties include; placing a fake tattoo on child's arm or face using water. Must be energetic, responsible and good around children. 20 mins break for snacks. 2 bouncy castle assistants: Duties include; children guidance going in and out of the bouncy castle and mini slide attached. Parents will be there as well.  20 mins break for snacks. 2 polish assistants: Duties include; polishing nails for princesses. 20mins break for snacks

Summer Reading:
